Refined Iberico experience with character

The unique flavor of Iberico pork

Are you looking for a culinary experience that goes beyond the standard steak? At Lu & Na in Limburg, we serve top-quality Iberico meat. How about a refined starter with depth and character? At Lu & Na in Limburg, we serve Jamón Ibérico Bellota: air-dried Spanish ham from acorn-fed Iberico pigs, famous for its nutty flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture. This delicacy is sliced paper-thin and served pure, allowing the rich aromas to fully unfold. Pair this starter with a glass of brut or champagne and experience how the salty, umami-rich meat and the fresh acidity perfectly balance each other.

What is Iberico meat?

Iberico meat comes from the black Iberian pig, a unique breed found exclusively on the Iberian Peninsula in Spain. What makes this Spanish pork so special is the marbling of the meat and the natural diet of the animals. Many Iberico pigs are fed acorns (Bellota), which gives the meat a nutty, deep flavor and a buttery soft texture. This diet and lifestyle have earned the meat its reputation as the “Wagyu of pork.”

One of the most famous products from this animal is Pata Negra ham (Jamón Ibérico), but the fresh meat is also renowned as an absolute delicacy for barbecue or grilling.

Our Iberico dishes

At Lu & Na, we serve Iberico in several forms, each with its own character. Start your dinner with the refined Jamón Ibérico Bellota: air-dried ham from acorn-fed Iberico pigs, rich in umami and silky in texture. For the main courses, you can choose from our 100% Iberico, cut from the best-marbled part of the pig. These steaks are grilled over a wood fire for a strong, smoky flavor.

Wood-fired BBQ

At Lu & Na, we elevate Iberico meat by preparing it on our wood-fired BBQ. Not a standard grill plate, but an open flame fueled by carefully selected wood for a deep, smoky flavor. Our chefs grill the Iberico with utmost precision, allowing the fat to beautifully melt and the meat to develop its full aroma. This method of cooking—slowly, over high heat and real fire—gives the tender meat a robust character.

As a specialized BBQ restaurant in Limburg, we combine artisanal grilling techniques with premium quality to deliver a flavor experience you won’t soon forget.

Iberico restaurant: wijnsuggesties & bijgerechten

A dish of this caliber deserves a wine that enhances the character of the meat. As a wine-focused restaurant in Limburg, we like to serve a glass of brut or champagne alongside our Jamón Ibérico Bellota. The fresh acidity and fine bubbles of these sparkling wines provide the perfect contrast to the creamy fat and umami of the ham. The result is an elegant, well-balanced flavor experience.

Every main course is served with a trio of refined side dishes: grilled asparagus, gourmet mushrooms, and barbecue potatoes.
